Powell Stone & Gravel has been performing excavation services since the late 1960's. The Excavation Services Division has grown over the past 30 years to accomodate large scale construction development projects consisting of new residential housing site work and commercial site work, including public service facilities, strip malls, and athletic fields for public and private high schools.
The Excavation Division is comprised of highly skilled project leaders, equipment operators, and laborers who feel that every job is the most important. This combination of attitude and skill level puts the Excavation Division at the top of their field.
Completed projects include the Cushing Academy football stadium in Ashburnham, MA; the Public Safety Building in Lunenburg, MA; public roads developed in Templeton, Fitchburg, Leominster, Lunenburg, West Boylston, Pepperell, Ashburnham, Ashby, Groton, Westford, Ashland, Shirley, Lancaster, Harvard, Marlboro, Hubbardston, Littleton, Princeton, Stow, Ayer, and Devens. The Excavation Division has completed hundreds of residential/homeowner projects in the above mentioned towns, along with many more.
The Excavation Division is now known as RA Powell Construction. Our small number of talented professionals and the intimacy of our service are deceiving when you consider the diversity, accuracy, and speed at which this company operates. We are selective with our employees, and although it may seem that a job has been completed by over 50 men, we utilize less than half of that to complete a job with personalized service and precise construction.
